Pope Francis encouraged delegates of the World Bank Spring Meeting in Washington DC on April 16 to 22 to formulate economic policies that will foster inclusive growth to promote human development and dignity.
The Pope during the general audience on April 18 expressed the need to work on “an authentic integral development that is respectful of human dignity” and to design financial plans that will uplift the “life of the poor”.
